I have been doing Massage for over a year, and have recently gotten my own Office on the East Side of Madison at 408 South Baldwin Street. I graduated from Blue Sky School of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and I am Nationally Certified. My regular treatments include Swedish Massage/Relaxation Massage, Reflexology, Lomi Lomi, Lymphactic Massage, Aromatherapy, Neuromuscular Therapy, and I am also only 1 of 3 Massage Therapists (that I know of) in Madison that do Nuad Pra Kob, or Sabai Herbal Compress Treatments.
I will also be offering Discounts to Students when a Student ID is presented, because I've been a student too and I know most of your wallets don't allow you the luxury of being able to get a regular massage. Massage should for sure be available to students because Massage Therapy is proven to improve your memory and academics. The relief from Tension and Stress isn't bad either! So bring in your Student ID - get a 1 hour (relaxation massage only) for only $45!( What to expect on your first visit...Collapse )
To spark interest, I have an offer for you readers -The first 5 people to respond to this entry will receive a 1 hour relaxation massage for only $45.00
Even if you see 5 have already responded, go ahead and respond anyway, if anyone cancels I will go to the next.
My Hours are: Weekdays 5pm - 9pm, Weekends 9am - 9pm And I am taking appointments starting August 1st. This Grand Opening Offer is only Valid for August, so make your appointment this month! Hi, a friend and I are planning on biking to Madison from Milwaukee this Saturday-Sunday. I was wondering if anybody had an extra couch or two that we might be able to crash on. Odds are we'll mostly be out of your hair for most of the time, we have plans to bum around Madison for a bit, though we have nothing specific. Though if you're interested in being a guide, that'd probably be fun, too.
If you're interested, please send an e-mail to little tiny fish at little tiny fish dot com.

Come See Mercury Players Theatre's Latest Production - Compleat Female Stage Beauty!
is proud to present Jeffrey Hatcher's Compleat Female Stage Beauty
. The play, which was later adapted into the motion picture Stage Beauty
is a hilarious Restoration comedy set in 17th Century London.
In 1661 the most famous portrayer of female roles on the London stage was a performer named Kynaston. Like every other player permitted to enact such roles, Kynaston was a man. A celebrity artist shining bright at the crest of the Restoration, Ned or Mr. K, as he’s called, is applauded onstage and off for his interpretations of Shakespeare’s tragic ladies: Ophelia, Cleopatra, especially his Desdemona and his famous “death scene.” He’s the toast of the town and the very secret “mistress” of the powerful Duke of Buckingham.
But when an unknown named Margaret Hughes plays Desdemona one night at an illegal theater, instead of stopping the show, the ever-game King Charles II changes the law to allow women to act. By the stroke of a pen, Kynaston’s world is turned upside-down. He loses his cachet, his livelihood, his lover and his sense of self. And while the king’s own courtesan, Nell Gwynn, and Kynaston’s former dresser, Maria, become stars, his own light disappears—until fate and his desire for revenge give him a chance to take the stage again.
Directed by Cara Peterson, the production stars Dave Durbin as Kynaston, Jamie England as Margaret Hughes, and a talented ensemble cast. Click here for a complete cast list.
The show, which is for mature audiences only, opens on Friday, April 11th and runs for 3 weeks. There are performances at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m. All performances will be in The Drury
at The Bartell Theatre
, located at 113 East Mifflin Street, just off the Capitol Square in Madison.
Seating is general admission. Tickets cost $15.00 ($10.00 for students, seniors, or members of groups of 10 or more) and can be purchased in advance through brownpapertickets.com
. Tickets can also be reserved by calling (608) 661-9696, extension 5.
It is a very fun show. I hope to see you all there! Current Mood: excited

PIG (with former KMFDM members) in MADISON WI June 30
***Slick cynical lyrics delivered with growling vocals on top of a razor and nail mattress of driving guitars, heavy synths, and aggressive beats to create this industrial-rock accomplishment that no fan of KMFDM, Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Fear Factory, or Static-X should be without.***

Mad Rollin Dolls' season championship bout is this saturday! click on the flier below to buy tickets online or get more info!
I don't live in Madison (I'm Milwaukee), but my sister recently moved out there and is in need of help. She doesn't have an LJ, but the cityofmilwaukee community is pretty good for a resource so I thought I'd give this a shot.
My sister has had knee problems all of her life, and has had to undergo physical therapy. The physical therapist her orthopedic surgeon reccommended to her is not very good (as in, my sister doesn't feel like she's getting anything out of it, thus she is concerned about her motivation to continue with the therapy which she really needs).
I know it's a shot in the dark, but can anyone recommend a physical therapist that they know of or have gone to that has a good rapport with their clients?
